Earl Kidd

Earl Kidd, 86, of Michigan City, passed away on Monday, January 3, 2011 at 10:25 a.m. at St. Anthony Memorial Health Centers.
Services will be held on Friday at 7:00 p.m. at the Root Funeral Home with Rev. Jeff Fields officiating. Viewing will be held on Friday from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m.
Earl was born December 16, 1924 in Cumberland, Kentucky to the late Andrew and Mae (Nelson) Kidd.
On August 22, 1971 in Bigstone Gap, Virginia he married married Maudie Whitacker who is surviving in Michigan City.
Also surviving are four daughters: Sharon (James) Mecoli, Donna Black, Carol (Jim) Bobier and Jennifer Kidd; three sons: Michael Kidd, Tommy (Zenovia) Kidd and Patrick (Robin) Kidd; one step-son: Michael Shepherd; nineteen grandchildren; three great-grandchildren and a special grandson Kayden Saunders; and one sister Louise Lewis of Cumberland, KY.
Preceding him in death are two sons: Robert R. Kidd and Ronald W. Kidd; one sister and five brothers.
Earl retired as a meatcutter from Al's Valueland.
