Scott Murray, 25, of Westville passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, December 4, 2011 at 7:59 p.m. in Westville, IN.
Funeral Services will be held on Friday at 11:00 a.m. at the Root Funeral Home with Deacon Dale Walsh officiating. Burial will follow in Beatty Corner Cemetery. Viewing will be held on Thursday from 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. and on Friday from 10:00 - 11:00 a.m. at the Root Funeral Home.
Scott was born May 2, 1986 in Michigan City to Thomas and Lorraine (Wozniak) Murray Jr. His father is preceding him in death and his mother is surviving in Westville, Indiana.
Also surviving is one brother: Thomas Murray III of Westville, Indiana and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Preceding him in death are his grandparents: Albin and Mary Wozniak, Thomas and Yvonne Murray Sr.; uncle Albin "Butch" Wozniak; and cousins Daniel Murray and Julie Mayfield.
Scott was a salesman for Correct Roofing.
He was an honorable discharged veteran of the Nation Guard. He was always there for his family and friends and will be greatly missed.
