Juli A. Palmer
November 19, 1967 - July 23, 2013

Juli A. Palmer, 45, of Michigan City passed away on Tuesday, July 23, 2013 at 9:37 a.m. at her home after a courageous battle with cancer.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, July 27, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at Saint Stanislaus Kostka Church with Rev. Walter Ciesla officiating. Viewing will be held on Friday from 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. at the Root Funeral Home and on Saturday from 9:15 - 10:00 a.m. at Saint Stanislaus Church.

Juli was born November 19, 1967 in Michigan City to Ronald and Gracie (McGee) Dickey of LaPorte, IN.

On October 7, 1990 in Michigan City she married Steven Palmer who is surviving in Michigan City.

Also surviving are five children: Nicholas (fiancée Elizabeth), Adam, Jory, Sophia and Seth all of Michigan City; and two brothers: Jeff (Denise) West and Craig West both of La Porte, IN.

Juli was the former cheerleading coach for the Michigan City High School after 11 years of service.

She was a member of Saint Stanislaus Church and loved to go camp with family and friends. She graduated from Columbia University with a degree in Photography which she enjoyed very much.

Memorials may be made to the Michiana Humane Society.
